Confidentiality

Maintaining your confidentiality is our priority. Any information about you or our work together will be kept strictly confidential.

 

Exceptions to this include:

 

Imminent risk of death or serious harm either to yourself or someone else.

 

Where information is required by law.

 

Onward referrals to associate practitioners and other health professionals with your expressed prior permission.

 

Clinical supervision. No names or identifiable information will be shared.

Terms and Conditions

Payment: You will receive an invoice after your session payable by BACS transfer or cheque. Payments can also be made in advance. If you are experiencing difficulties in making payments, please let us know and we may be able to help. Failure to pay may result in us cancelling further sessions until payment is received.


Insurance payments: We are registered providers for many major insurance companies. It is your responsibility to establish how much cover is authorised and to meet any payments incurred that are not chargeable to your insurance company e.g. cancellations, excess on the policy. If this arises you will be invoiced directly.


Cancellations and absences: We reserve the right to charge for cancellations and non-attendance as follows:

24-48 hours notice of cancellation will incur half the session fee.    

24 hours and under will incur the full fee.

On rare occasions we may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for reasons outside of our control. Should this occur, we will endeavour to inform you and reschedule as soon as is possible.
